There's not much to say about these little guys, except that they are darn cute and make a hilarious pair!
(Also, Martin likes to smile for the camera.)

Monica - Headshots
I'm excited to share today's shoot with you because it was like a dream - literally! A dream lead to this shoot. How neat is that?
Our lovely model came all the way form Chicago to shoot with Motography, which was flattering, exciting, and a little bit unbelievable. But it's not quite as ridiculous when I admit that the model is a close friend from my undergrad, who also came to pay me a visit. :) Monica has been a huge supporter of Motography from the very first day, and was thrilled to have her very own photo shoot during her weekend in town. And I was thrilled to shoot her because: she's beautiful, playful, and open to weird and exciting ideas - a modern photographer's dream!
Monica and I first bonded a few years ago over a common love of literature and writing. Once we set up the shoot, I started having all of these thoughts - and yes, even a dream - about shooting Monica in the local library, where we spent quite a bit of time during those years. Not a lot of customers would be okay with rolling around on the floor, climbing the shelves, and generally making a big scene in public (don't worry - we asked permission), but Monica did a fantastic job. Enjoy!
Monica spent the summer of 2010 studying poetry in Prague, and fell in love with the city. When she found this book she was so enamored, cartoon hearts basically started popping out of her head.
This one got some serious love too - she calls her boyfriend Bear, and was delighted when she saw this in the childrens' room.
After the library, we headed out into downtown Bowling Green.
Thanks for a great weekend, a great shoot, and some wonderful photos, Monica. And thanks for being a wonderful friend, too :)

Next up was another of mine and Monica's favorite past haunts, a combination coffee shop, used book and record store. The owners were kind enough to let us shoot there, and to ignore all of our giggling and noise making. Thanks, Grounds for Thought!
